Wombat Spelling Book B contains activities that will help develop the spelling skills of young students. The lists of words follow a phonics based approach. The sound groups treated are: sh, ch, th, wh, ll, ss, ck, bl, br, cl, cr, dr fl, fr, gr, pl, pr, sl, sm, sn, sp, st, sw, tr, -ft, -ld, -mp, -nd, -nt, -sk, -st, scr.
Also included are “sight” words taken from the Dolch word list.
